Ellenbogenchecker haben keine Chance

Elternverein und Dohmianer ehren starkes soziales Engagement am CvD

Goslar. Die Tische mit Wasser, Saft und Kuchen gedeckt, der Raum gut gefüllt - die Rahmenbedingungen stimmten also am Mittwoch, als eine Delegation von jungen Menschen des Christian-von-Gymnasiums in einer kleinen Feierstunde in der Schule für ihr anhaltendes soziales Engagement geehrt wurden. Gefährten, also ältere Schüler, die sich um Fünf- und Sechsklässler kümmern, Sanitätsdienstler, Schulbuchausleihe, Schülersprecher oder andere, die sich uneigennützig in den Dienst der Allgemeinheit nachhaltig stellten - die Palette des starken Miteinanders war bunt und vielfältig.

„Das Leben ist so vielfältig wie das ehrenamtliche Engagement an unserer Schule,“ so Sascha Göritz vom Elternverein, „dass die Starken den Schwachen helfen ist so wichtig für unsere Gesellschaft insgesamt.“ Dass das achtsame Miteinander als Sieger vom Platz ginge und nicht die Fraktion der Ellenbogenchecker, dafür stünden die Anwesenden ein, so Göritz weiter. Hans-Otto Reuss von den ebenfalls ehrenden Dohmianern ergänzte: „So viel Tatendrang und Hingabe für das Gemeinsame muss gelobt werden!“

Die jungen Menschen aus den unterschiedlichsten Jahrgängen wurden in einer Gemeinschaftsaktion von Dohmianern und Elternverein mit Kino-Gutscheinen als kleines Dankeschön versorgt. Ulrike Aversch aus der Schulleitung des CvD hatte dabei für optimale, weil gemütliche Rahmenbedingungen gesorgt gehabt. Ihre besondere Freude darüber, dass Schule nicht nur als Ort des Lernens, sondern auch als Lebensraum wahrgenommen werde, brachte Schulleitererin Barbara Reichert in ihrer Dankesrede zum Ausdruck.
